5 ways to apply sunscreen not causing acne

Sunscreen is a skincare-containing sunscreening agent. It protects the facial or the body’s skin from UV rays in sunlight, which is the main reason for dead skin cells, causing skin problems like dullness, wrinkles, blemishes, dark spots, oily face, or even comedones.

Here is how to apply sunscreen correctly.

  1. Apply sunscreen 15 minutes before going outto make the cream all set, absorb into the skin, and protect the skin from UV rays more effectively.
  2. Use proper amount of sunscreen. The right amount of sunscreen is two index fingers or a 10-baht coin. Apply sunscreen over your face and neck for a better result.
  3. Reapply sunscreen during the dayso that the efficiency of UV protection remains constant. Reapply every 2 hours during the day, especially for people who work in sunlight all day.
  4. Use the right sunscreen. There are many types of sunscreen products. You must use sunscreen suitable for your activities to retain its best potency, for example, people who go to the beach and enjoy water activities need waterproof sunscreens that are resistant to water and sweat.
  5. Apply sunscreen indoors. You should apply sunscreen even though you’re indoors as UV rays can always pass through doors and windows. Also, UV rays from smartphones, light bulbs, and TVs can affect the skin. So, you should always apply sunscreen, but with less SPF.

Now, you can get good facial skin and no more acne problems.
